Cliffs of Moher giclée print by Irish artist Marie McDwyer — oil painting of the Wild Atlantic Way at sunset

Irish Landscape Art Prints — Bringing the Wild Atlantic Way Home

There is a particular quality of light on the west coast of Ireland that is almost impossible to describe. It shifts in minutes — from silver to gold to a bruised, stormy grey — and it has been drawing artists to the Wild Atlantic Way for centuries.

These Irish landscape art prints are my attempt to hold that light still, just for a moment.

What makes a great Irish landscape print?

Not all art prints are created equal. When you're choosing an Irish landscape print for your home, a few things matter:

  • The original artwork. Every print in my collection begins as an original oil painting — painted by hand, on location or from life studies. The print is a faithful reproduction of that original, not a digital illustration.
  • The paper. I print exclusively on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g archival paper — the same paper used by galleries and museums. It holds colour beautifully and is designed to last for generations without fading.
  • The subject. Ireland has no shortage of iconic landscapes, but the places that move me most are the ones that feel wild and unhurried — the Cliffs of Moher at dusk, the boglands at dawn, the narrow streets of Galway's Latin Quarter.

The collection

Each print in the Marie McDwyer collection captures a specific place and mood across Ireland's most beloved landscapes:

Irish art prints as gifts

A giclée print of an Irish landscape makes a genuinely meaningful gift — for someone who has visited Ireland and wants to bring a piece of it home, for the Irish diaspora, or for anyone who simply loves beautiful landscape art. Each print ships rolled in protective packaging, directly from Ireland.

Original paintings

If you're looking for something truly one of a kind, I also paint original oil paintings — each a unique, framed work that will never be reproduced. Enquire about originals here.

Marie McDwyer is an Irish artist based in Ireland, painting the landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way in oil.
